Once upon a time, acrylic powder was widely used in dentistry. Years passed, and now she has become famous in a completely different field - nail art. Acrylic nail extension is no less popular than gel (on tips and forms) and has a number of advantages over its competitors.
Acrylic powder: how to use?
The usual build-up is done with a transparent powder. For colored coatings, there are materials with many shades - camouflage, white, translucent, pink, monochromatic and shimmery. The nails need to be prepared: do a manicure, treat the nail plate with a buff, degrease, and then apply a primer and bonder. Acrylic can also be molded onto tips and forms. Next comes the most difficult process - applying acrylic to the nail. And if the acrylic itself is easy to prepare - you just need to dip the brush moistened with liquid into the powder - then it will be possible to apply it quickly and correctly on the nail plate only after training. Acrylic quickly hardens - this is the greatest difficulty in working with the material. The acrylic system for nail extension includes not only powder, but also many other elements: monomers, primers, bonders. It will be easier for a beginner to purchase a starter kit, consisting of all the necessary materials and tools, and then additionally buy the necessary shades of acrylic.
The subtleties of working with acrylic powder
Each type of nail extension or coating has both advantages and disadvantages that do not depend on the manufacturer. Let's call them work nuances. If we talk about acrylic powder, then the undoubted advantages here are: strong, but at the same time plastic nails. Your nail will look like a natural one; long-term wear resistance not only of the shape, but also of the color, which will not fade, will not peel off, will delight 3-4 weeks before correction with brightness and beautiful design.
